We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide high-quality, hands-on care to residents in a small, home-like environment. This role involves supporting residents with daily living activities, offering companionship, assisting with medication, and helping maintain a clean and safe space. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Personal Care: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility in a dignified manner.
• Medication Assistance: Administer prescribed medications to residents and document accordingly.
• Companionship: Engage residents in conversation and planned activities, offering emotional support.
• Meal Support: Prepare and serve meals and snacks, assist during mealtimes, clean up afterward, and run the dishwasher.
• Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and general organization to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
• Safety & Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, contacting management as required.
• Documentation: Maintain daily notes during each shift to communicate key information to the following shifts.
• Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other staff members and stay up to date on house rules and policies.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions, including vital signs, to the appropriate staff. 

• Previous experience as a caregiver, PCA, or in a related role preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine practices.
• Cooking and housekeeping skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.
• Physical ability to carry out job duties, including lifting, stair navigation, and moving household items.
• Ability to relocate before starting work (Required).
